Designed to adapt to your family's needs, the Avalon Expandable Cot combines everyday nursery functionality with the option to convert into a bedside bed. Its softly rounded timber design is available in three versatile colourways to complement a range of nursery interiors.
Two mattress-base positions support your baby as they grow, while the double-lock dropside provides secure locking in both raised and lowered positions. Smooth-rolling castors make the cot easier and quieter to move around the nursery, and the built-in storage compartment keeps small essentials close at hand.
With the separately sold Avalon Expandable Conversion Kit and compatible mattress extension, the cot can be transformed into a bedside bed with nine height settings to align with the parents' mattress. The conversion kit and mattress extension are sold separately.

Safety information Complies with the Consumer Goods (Infant Sleep Products) Safety Standard 2024, Consumer Goods (Infant Products) Information Standard 2024 and Australian/New Zealand safety standard AS/NZS 2172:2013. Also complies with European standard EN 716-1-2:2017+AC:2019 and BS 8509:2008+A1:2011. WARNING: Place the infant on their back to sleep on a firm, flat surface. Do not place objects or accessories in an infant's sleep environment. Keep the cot away from blinds, cords, straps and similar items that could become wrapped around an infant's neck. The mattress surface must not rise above the marking hole on the cot. The maximum mattress thickness is 11cm. Cover all unused holes with the provided hole covers. The lowest mattress-base position is the safest. Move the base to the lowest position before your child is able to sit up. Always ensure the dropside is in its highest, locked position when your child is unattended. Do not leave anything inside or near the cot that could provide a foothold or create a suffocation or strangulation hazard. Keep the cot away from open flames and other strong heat sources. Check the cot, connecting bolts and glide pins regularly. Do not use the cot if any component is broken, torn, loose or missing. Use only replacement parts approved by the manufacturer. Do not use more than one mattress in cot mode. |

Age recommendation Cot mode is suitable from birth until the child is able to climb out of the cot. Toddler bed mode is suitable from 18 months to 4 years. Use the higher mattress base position for newborns. Move the base to the lowest position before the child can sit up. |

Care guide Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth. If required, use a mild soapy solution and wipe dry immediately. Wipe in the direction of the wood grain. Do not use strong household cleaners. Avoid sharp objects, hot liquids, open flames, direct sunlight, excessive moisture and extreme heat. Regularly check that all bolts, screws and connections remain secure. Lift the cot when moving it; do not drag. |

Delivery Timeframes
If the item/s you’ve ordered are in stock, please allow 1 to 5 business days for your order to be processed and shipped out from our warehouse. Note that any Pre-order items will be held and not despatched until all items are in stock. Orders are delivered by 3rd party carriers, and should reach you within 10 business days of leaving the Boori warehouse.
Delivery Process
The delivery process may vary depending on the nominated 3rd party courier. For local Sydney bulky deliveries, you will receive a phone call confirming the delivery day. For standard couriers, once your order leaves the Boori warehouse, you will receive an email with delivery information.
Please note that couriers are only obligated to deliver to the front door of the home, and will generally not take goods into a room. If you live in an apartment building, the courier is only required to deliver to the ground floor of the building. Most deliveries are undertaken by one person, who may require assistance during the delivery.
Deliveries are generally carried out Mon–Fri, and specific-day deliveries are generally not available.
Warehouse Collection
The Boori warehouse is located in Eastern Creek NSW (2766) and is usually open Mon-Fri 8am to 4pm for collections. If you’d like to organise a warehouse collection order, set your postcode to 1000 during the checkout process. Please allow the Boori team 1 to 5 business days to get your order processed; once your order is ready for collection, you will receive an email with collection instructions.
Pre-order Items
Any orders containing pre-order item/s will not be shipped until all items are in stock. Please note that the stated product pre-order availability on the website is Boori’s best estimate, but can change due to unforeseen delays with container shipping lines.
Cancellations & Returns
If you cancel your order prior to its dispatch, Boori can cancel the order and provide you with a full refund.
If you cancel the order after it’s already been shipped, delivery fees, and a restocking fee apply. Any returning product/s must be returned in their original condition and in their original packaging within 14 days of delivery. Boori will not refund any shipping or handling costs, and you will be charged a restocking fee of 20% the cost of your order. You will also be responsible for any costs involved in the return delivery. Your refund will be processed once the item has been returned and assessed to be in good condition.
Warranty and Damage
If your item has been damaged in-transit, please take photos illustrating damage to the carton/s, and contact us.
Please inspect your goods within 72hrs of receiving them, and let us know if there are any issues. You can send an email to services@boori.com.au noting the issue, and attaching proof of purchase and images to illustrate the issues.
Your payment information is processed securely. We do not store credit card details nor have access to your credit card information.
